Meyer en Van Schooten Architecten renews its lease agreement in building A-Factorij

Meyer en Van Schooten Architecten (MVSA) has recently extended its lease agreement in building A-Factorij for 5 years on market terms. MVSA leases approximately 1,328 m² of office space and 9 parking spaces. MVSA is an architectural firm known for its clear, consistent and innovative designs. Solidiam N.V. recently acquired the A-Factorij building from Stichting Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds Zorgverzekeraars, located within the A10 ring road on the Schinkel industrial estate, in line with the Zuidas in Amsterdam. The building has a total lettable floor area of 11,850 m² of office space and 137 parking spaces. The eight tenants of the office building have one thing in common: creativity. Tenants include Ogilvy, 20th Century Fox, etcetera, Meyer en Van Schooten Architecten and Proud Design. The average rental period is approximately 5 years and the total rental income is approximately 2.2 million euros. In 2002, the A-Factorij, a former bicycle factory, was completely renovated. This was done in a trendy and spacious style and with a considerable amount of light and lots of outdoor spaces. In addition, there are three towers with loft offices.

In this transaction, the landlord Solidiam N.V. was advised by Appelhoven Vastgoedadviseurs. Appelhoven Vastgoedadviseurs also advised Solidiam N.V. in mid-2011 with the acquisition of this property.
