Cording buys monumental office object on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam

Cording Real Estate Group (Cording), a subsidiary of Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) S.A., has again acquired an office property in Amsterdam, for its Benelux Commercial Real Estate Fund (BCREF). The seller is a group of private investors.

Cording, a European real estate investment and asset management company that focuses on Germany, Great Britain and the Benelux, takes over the asset management of the real estate.

The office building is located at Keizersgracht 22 and is the head office of the Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda. It comprises approximately 1,650 m² of office space which is fully let to the company. The property was built in 1837 and was used as a church until 1928. Due to its former use as a church, the building offers a unique working environment with large open plan office floors.
