To expand the “Little Friends” sub-fund, AviaRent has now acquired 15 daycare centers in the Netherlands. The company acquired the properties for an amount of approximately € 21 million from GREEN Real Estate B.V.

“Day care centers are often scarce, especially in large cities. With our “Little Friends” sub-fund, we offer attractive investments to institutional investors and also help alleviate this shortage, “says Sascia Valkier, Head of Transaction Management at AviaRent Invest AG.

The daycare centers are located in Amsterdam, Assen, Bunnik, Gouda, IJmuiden, Nieuwegein, Utrecht, Voorburg, Zeewolde and De Meern. All facilities are provided with an optimal infrastructure at good locations in and around the major cities. For most centers, Partou B.V. act as a tenant. Partou has provided childcare since 1984, making it the largest player in this industry.

GREEN congratulates the purchaser with this magnificent transaction. Juul Derks, Head of Investments at GREEN, expounds: “We are proud that we could optimize this portfolio in such way that it became a solid core investment. To come to this result taking into account these challenging times is a compliment to all parties involved.”
