Capricorn Capital Group BV and REB Projects BV, together with their investors, bought the former head office of GE Artesia Bank in Amsterdam from Harvest & Millten. The complex, totalling 6,500 m², divided into three monumental canal houses on the Herengracht and three houses on the Reguliersdwarsstraat, plus the intermediate inspection garden, offers the opportunity to realise a development of international stature at this exceptional location in the heart of Amsterdam.
The purchase price was 29.500.000,- euros.
The buildings offer the possibility to create a number of large single storey houses, which is exceptional in this location in the city centre of Amsterdam. 1,000 m² will be retained as an office location. The complex will be restored to its original state as much as possible and will retain its own grand character. After the buildings have been parked, they will once again be given a residential destination.
Construction is expected to start between the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 and completion is planned a year later.
